Stockton: Police are sounding the alarm after intercepting a suspected drug package. This package was meant for a home in Roseworth. It’s a serious issue, and they’re worried about a trend.

Officers got a tip from Border Force about the package. They quickly went to a house on Ribchester Close. There, they arrested a 36-year-old woman. She’s now in custody for questioning.

A 43-year-old man was also taken in for allegedly supplying drugs. Both have been released on bail while the investigation continues. Police are concerned about criminals using vulnerable people to receive these illegal packages.

Inspector Andrew Vickers mentioned that these criminals often lure vulnerable individuals with false promises. They think they can get away with it, but that’s not true. The police are working closely with Border Force to catch these illegal shipments.

Vickers stressed that receiving or importing drugs is illegal. They want everyone to know that they could face prosecution. If anyone has tips about drug activity, they should reach out to Cleveland Police.

It’s crucial for the community to stay informed and vigilant. The police are here to help, and they need the public’s support to tackle this issue.
