Middlesbrough: A 42-year-old man was arrested after a man got hurt in a suspected stabbing. The victim had cuts on his face and fingers, likely from a knife.

This all went down on Granville Road on Tuesday afternoon. Paramedics rushed to the scene and took the injured man to the hospital.

Cleveland Police are on it, having arrested the suspect for grievous bodily harm. They’re asking anyone who saw anything or has footage to reach out.

A police spokesperson mentioned they got the call around 3:30 PM about the assault. The injured man was treated on-site before heading to the hospital.

The North East Ambulance Service confirmed they were called shortly after to help. They sent a paramedic crew to assist the victim.
