Hey, I have some news. The Lidl in Clifden got messed up! Storm Eowyn caused substantial damage there last week. The supermarket informed everyone it’s still closed. They need to fix things after the bad weather.

The store will stay closed for now. They must clean up and finish the repairs. The store wants to reopen quickly. They are working on it, so no shopping there soon.

Also, it will get colder. Experts predict a risk of snow this week. Temperatures are dropping in the UK and Ireland. Ireland already had cold temps, hail, and sleet, this was just on Tuesday!

Experts aren’t sure about the rest of the month. They do see a snow risk this weekend, maybe. Met4CastUK said the cold might deepen. This could raise chances of snow in the southeast, but the track isn’t certain though.

It might not even hit the UK. Cathal Nolan warned about icy patches. These may form tonight, he warns. Watch out if you drive tomorrow morning, it might be frosty!

Nolan says this cold lasts until midweek. Then, maybe it gets milder briefly. But after midweek, things get uncertain again. Many different weather outcomes are possible now.
