A dramatic scene unfolded in Stockton as armed police responded to reports of men with weapons, leading to one arrest and a minor injury.
Stockton: Armed police rushed to Myrtle Road after reports of a street fight. Witnesses said they saw officers with guns drawn, which must have been quite a sight.
The incident happened around 12:25 PM on Wednesday. Police got calls about several men involved in a scuffle. One guy ended up with a minor injury, but thankfully, he didn’t need hospital care.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and is still in custody. Neighbors were told to stay away from the area while the situation was handled.
Cleveland Police confirmed they received reports of the altercation and that some individuals might have had weapons. They’re asking anyone with information or CCTV footage to reach out.
