Dublin: Weather experts are warning about a massive snow beast heading for Ireland soon. This could happen in just over a week.

The country is still dealing with the aftermath of Storm Eowyn. Now, more bad weather might be on the way for February.

This snow front is similar to the “beast from the east” that hit years ago. It could arrive by the second week of February.

If this snow beast comes, temperatures might drop below -20 degrees. This could happen after February 10.

While it’s too early to confirm, a weather expert suggests we should keep an eye on the situation.

MetJeffUK, a seasoned forecaster, said, “Is the Beast coming? Time will tell, but something is happening.”

Another weather enthusiast, Paul Blight, is also watching this snow beast closely. He noted that weather models are showing a strong anticyclone forming over North-West Russia soon.

He mentioned that this trend suggests colder air could move from Eastern Europe to North-West Europe by next weekend.

Although these temperatures could break records, Ireland is currently feeling a biting windchill, dropping temperatures to around -2 degrees.

Meanwhile, Met Eireann has shared the latest forecast. Thursday and Friday will start bright and sunny, but clouds will roll in later. Expect highs of 6-8 degrees.

Today will be mostly dry and bright, with some sunny spells. Clouds will increase later, bringing rain or drizzle in the evening. Highs will be 6 to 8 degrees.

Tonight, rain will clear early, leaving clear spells and a few isolated showers. Lows will be between 0 to 4 degrees with moderate winds.

Tomorrow looks dry with sunny spells, turning hazy at times. Expect highs of 8 to 10 degrees with light winds.
