Peter Considine, 41, denies charges related to unfair trading practices during home improvements between January 2022 and March 2024.
A trader must go to court. It will happen at Teesside Crown Court.
Peter Considine, 41 years old, faces charges. He denied five charges, but didn’t plead to a sixth at Magistrates’ Court.
The charges involve four people. The alleged events happened between January 2022 and March 2024.
He denies doing a bad job and allegedly not finishing work relating to three people’s homes in Stockton between July 2023 and March 2024.
The prosecution says he may have acted without professional care, potentially affecting consumers’ choices and breaking trading rules.
He also denies poor work concerning a fourth person’s house between January 2022 and October 2023. The prosecution says his business lacked care.
He denies misleading a customer by giving unclear costs and confusing receipts. He also didn’t enter a plea regarding the accusation of giving false information, supposedly stating a refund of £1,400 would be given.
The case moves to Crown Court, where a trial will occur. A court official, Andreas Pallis, adjourned it. The first Crown Court date is March 4.
Considine lives in Ingleby Barwick and received unconditional bail.
