A man has sadly died in Billingham after emergency services were called to a medical incident at his home on Lomond Avenue
A doctor and paramedics from the Great North Air Ambulance and North East Ambulance Service were called in. The air ambulance even landed nearby at Roseberry Primary School.
Cleveland Police reported that they got the call at 12:50 PM about the sudden death. They mentioned it doesn’t seem suspicious, and they’ll prepare a file for the coroner.
The North East Ambulance Service said they were alerted to a medical incident at 11:49 AM. They sent two ambulance crews and a clinical team leader to assist.
The air ambulance team took off at 12:04 PM and arrived at the scene just six minutes later. They worked closely with the ambulance service to assess and treat the patient.
