One customer from Wallsend was over the moon when they got the email. They thought they hit the jackpot! But just 15 minutes later, reality hit hard.
Another email came through saying it was all a mistake. Ouch! They were told the prize wasn’t real and that the first email was sent by accident.
STACK quickly apologized, saying they were trying to notify a real winner but ended up sending it to everyone. They really didn’t mean to cause any confusion.
The spokesperson expressed regret and promised to fix their processes. They assured that the actual winners, about 290 of them, would still get their prizes.
STACK opened in Middlesbrough just before Christmas and has been a hit. But this email blunder? Not so much. Let’s hope they get it sorted soon!
