Guisborough: It’s a sad story. The RSPCA is looking for help after a dead dog was found in a suitcase. A local person discovered the poor pup while cleaning up a rural lane.

The dog was a young Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix. Sadly, she was in bad shape and very thin. The body was already decomposing, so they couldn’t figure out how she died.

When they checked for a microchip, they found out she belonged to a woman who had bred her two years ago. The woman said the dog was named Blue and was one of 13 puppies she sold.

She couldn’t provide any details about who bought Blue, which is frustrating. The suitcase had a unique silver logo, and they hope someone might recognize it.

Chief Inspector Mark Gent expressed how upsetting the scene was. He thanked the person who reported it and urged anyone with information to reach out. If you saw anything strange or know about the dog or suitcase, please contact the RSPCA.

You can call their appeal line at 0300 123 8018 and mention reference number 01427427. Let’s hope they can find out what happened to this poor dog.
