Nexstep in Middlesbrough is seeking new members for exciting events and friendships, including trips to Sri Lanka and fun party nights.
Kathy Allen, the events coordinator, emphasizes that it’s not just a dating club. Sure, some people might hit it off, but the main goal is to have a good time and make friends. And trust me, they really do have a blast!
The club mainly caters to folks over 40. Members can join as many or as few events as they want. Kathy mentions they organize all sorts of activities, from theatre trips to party nights, bowling, and even live shows. The options are endless!
Kathy also points out that they’ve lost some older members and are eager to welcome new faces with fresh ideas. She understands that taking that first step can be tough, especially for those who might be single after a loss or divorce. But everyone who joins says it’s the best decision they’ve made.
To make newcomers feel comfortable, they have a team of friendly welcomers. These folks will meet new members at the door, so no one has to walk in alone.
