Hey, Ireland’s not done with the cold yet! More cold weather arrives, and it might even snow this week. Experts foresee snow for both the UK and Ireland.

Temperatures keep falling over the next few days. Recent days brought cold weather; Tuesday even had hail and sleet! The month’s end is uncertain, but snow could come this weekend.

Met4CastUK gave an update, saying the cold may worsen this weekend. This, they say, increases the chance of snow. A small feature moving into the southeast influences this, though the track is not certain and it might miss the UK completely.

Cathal Nolan talked frost on Ireland’s Weather Channel. Icy patches may form tonight as damp roads from showers will freeze on untreated surfaces. Inland areas face the greatest risk, and winds will die down tonight. The cold spell lasts into next week, when temperatures might get slightly warmer. The weather after that is still unclear.

Met Éireann says the next few days look clear, although temperatures stay low. Today should be dry and sunny, but some clouds arrive in the afternoon and it will be seven to ten degrees. Tonight will be cold and clear, with temperatures falling quickly and expected to reach one to minus two degrees. Frost and ice are also expected.

Tomorrow looks dry and bright again. Coastal areas may see some clouds, while elsewhere stays sunny. Temperatures reach six to nine degrees, and the winds will be light.
