Jamie Tindall testified in court about being shot in the face, identifying the alleged attackers as the Blagg brothers, who deny the charges against them.
Middlesbrough: A man named Jamie Tindall was shot in the face and is now blind. He testified in court about the incident, saying he saw who shot him.
Jamie shared his experience via video link at Teesside Crown Court. He mentioned seeing the Blagg brothers just before he was shot. He described the moment, saying, “I felt ‘boom’ I was shot.”
He identified Arron and Nathan Blagg as the ones involved. They are accused of attempted murder. The court heard they were part of a group that stopped near Jamie’s friend’s house.
Jamie was in the backyard with friends when the shooting happened. He was armed with a machete but was shot by a passenger on a quad bike. He said he didn’t see the gun but felt the impact.
During questioning, Jamie insisted he saw both brothers’ faces. He expressed certainty about their involvement, stating, “I know in my head and my heart 100% it was them.”
The Blagg brothers deny being at the scene and have pleaded not guilty. They are accused of driving a black Kia that accelerated toward Jamie before the shooting.
Jamie explained that he had to leave Middlesbrough after the incident because he felt unsafe. He mentioned that the shooting was related to a conflict involving others, and he was just in the wrong place.
The trial is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge as it continues.
