Teesside: In October, 34 people were jailed for various crimes. Among them were Martin and Shaun Breeze, who killed a man in a hit-and-run incident.

Martin Breeze, 57, received a life sentence for murdering Brian Darby. He must serve at least 32 years before parole. His son, Shaun, 29, got 16 years for manslaughter and other charges.

In another case, Lewis Hart, 36, was sentenced for sending explicit messages to a teenager. He received 16 months in prison and a ten-year restraining order.
