Gardai and ambulances are responding to a serious crash on a major road in Galway. Lanes are closed, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
Galway: There’s a serious traffic incident happening right now. Gardai and ambulances are on the scene of a crash on a busy road.
The collision took place on the R338 Old Dublin Road shortly after 3 PM on Wednesday. It involved two vehicles, and one lane is currently closed near the junction.
Traffic is really backed up in the area. Roads leading out from Lough Atallia Road, Bohermore, and R338 Moneenageisha Road are facing major delays.
Wellpark and the Old Dublin Road outbound, past the Eye Cinema, are also moving slowly.
