Hooters is making a comeback in Newcastle with new signs up at the city centre location, inviting job applications and promising a vibrant dining experience.
This isn’t Hooters’ first attempt in Newcastle. Over ten years ago, they tried to open a location but faced issues with safety and crime concerns. Their proposal was rejected back then.
Now, after nine years, they’ve submitted a new application. This time, they want to set up in the lower ground floor of the TJ Hughes store in Bigg Market. While there’s no official opening date yet, the signs say “opening soon.”
The building now displays Hooters’ bright orange logo and the words “Restaurant and Bar.” It’s located near popular spots like Filthy’s and Popworld.
Hooters started in 1983 and has around 500 locations worldwide, but only two in the UK, in Liverpool and Nottingham. They’re known for good food, cold beer, and lots of sports on big screens.
Their website mentions their commitment to great hospitality and food. They’re excited about their growth and promise to keep improving.
