A collision between an unmarked police car and an Audi A5 caused traffic delays at a busy junction, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.
The incident occurred around 5:40 PM on Wednesday, January 29. It involved a grey unmarked BMW police car and a black Audi A5 at a busy junction. This caused significant traffic delays.
Fortunately, no one was hurt. However, the crash disabled the traffic lights. Officers from Cleveland Police arrived to direct traffic until repairs could be made. Middlesbrough Council will handle the traffic light repairs.
A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the scene. They reported no injuries and did not dispatch any resources.
