Middlesbrough: A 27-year-old guy named Liam Binns made a huge mistake. He climbed into his ex’s house through a window, thinking he could just sneak in and out. But when he realized he was stuck, he grabbed an iPad and messaged her for help.

He texted, “Don’t flip!” but she was confused and asked, “Who’s this?” Once she figured it out, she was not happy. Binns claimed he needed his passport, but she told him to get out and called the police.

When the cops arrived, they found him lying under a duvet on her sofa. He even walked out with the duvet! Later, he came back, banging on the door and headbutting a window. Talk about desperate!

Binns denied using the iPad, saying he didn’t know the passcode. But he had a history of trouble, including a previous assault on her. He ended up in prison for eight months after this incident.

His lawyer mentioned that he was struggling with crack cocaine addiction but saw prison as a chance to get clean. The judge wasn’t impressed, saying he knew he wasn’t welcome there. Binns pleaded guilty to burglary, and now he’s got some time to think about his choices.
