A Galway shop was robbed; Gardaí investigate. A male demanded money from staff at Fine Wines on Seamus Quirke Road on Tuesday evening.
Money got stolen from the shop. A male entered and demanded cash. He then left with the money, said Gardaí. The incident took place around 8:20 PM on February 4.

Gardaí need help finding a missing teen. She has been missing for three days now. The appeal started on Wednesday this week. They want to find Jodie Sweeney, age 16. She is missing from her home in Ballybane, Galway.
Gardaí and Jodie’s family are worried and want anyone with information to contact them. Jodie was last seen on February 2, 2025. She is 5′ 1′′ in height and wore a black crop top, faded blue jeans, and black slip-on shoes that day. She was last seen around 8:30 PM.
